The provincial “Green Factory” list was recently announced, and Lisheng Group was selected for its sustained investment in clean production, energy management and energy saving. The “Green Factory” designation is an authoritative assessment by industry and information-technology authorities of an enterprise’s green-manufacturing system, covering intensive land use, clean production, low-carbon energy, waste recycling and other indicators.
In recent years Lisheng has implemented rooftop distributed solar power, workshop water-saving upgrades, drying waste-heat recovery and refined energy management. Its rooftop solar alone supplies several million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity each year; the site’s clean-energy share has risen steadily while energy consumption and carbon emissions per unit of product keep falling, gradually building a green-manufacturing system covering the whole production process.
As international markets demand ever more supply-chain sustainability, “Green Factory” status is becoming an important endorsement for Lisheng in winning overseas orders and OEM business. In many overseas brand clients’ supplier evaluations, low-carbon, eco-friendly production is now a significant plus, and Lisheng’s green practices have helped it win greater recognition in international cooperation.
A group spokesperson said the provincial “Green Factory” award is a new starting point; the company will continue deepening its green, low-carbon transformation and strive to build a showcase, replicable green smart-factory model.
