During the 2020 Spring Festival, China faced a very severe coronavirus epidemic, with regions entering Level-1 response and supplies of daily necessities under serious strain. To safeguard residents’ needs, and at society’s request, from 27–30 January (the third to sixth days of the first lunar month) Lisheng’s factories arranged resumption in line with local government policy and gradually restored supply. Lisheng employees ended their holidays early and returned to their posts. Lisheng pledged to society: in this special period, the group would firmly maintain market stability, strictly control production quality, and require distributors to keep prices stable and ensure supply to meet residents’ needs. Lisheng strictly observes its social responsibility as a conscientious, responsible livelihood enterprise.
Lisheng’s epidemic-control measures: (1) keep in principle only one entrance per subsidiary, temporarily closing others; (2) set up temperature checkpoints at entrances (with electronic thermometers) and registers, screening staff for fever, colds and coughs, barring any suspected cases and deciding on resumption according to the situation; (3) disinfect all incoming vehicles by spraying (sodium hypochlorite or 75% alcohol); (4) fully disinfect gathering areas such as the plant, offices and canteen before shifts and disinfect public areas daily; (5) print prevention materials per government guidance, one per person, and brief staff before and after shifts; (6) have the storage-transport department take stock of raw materials, assess continuous-production cycles and report to the group logistics department on resumption day; (7) have the prevention team report daily to the local government per its joint-prevention commitment; and (8) require all returning staff to wear masks during work to prevent cross-infection.
