On 13 July, Shandong Lisheng Group held its 2015 mid-year review meeting in the group conference room, attended by Chairman Gao Fengguo, General Manager Gao Fengshe and 56 mid-level managers from the subsidiaries and centres.
Each unit reported on its first-half work, goal progress, problems and next steps; others gave personal summaries; and the General Manager offered comments. Chairman Gao Fengguo noted that in the first half, amid a downward economy and an industry-wide slump, everyone worked together to complete their tasks well and achieve good results — especially summer grain purchasing, which exceeded expectations and was among the best in recent years. He stressed seven priorities for the second half: improving production processes and adjusting product structure to market demand; strengthening production management and talent pipelines; ensuring stable product quality; building the marketing team and innovating marketing models; reforming procurement methods and processes; revamping the financial system to suit modern governance; and continuing to optimise management systems and implement reform goals.
The meeting urged all staff to carry forward the fine tradition of hard pioneering and striving to excel, and — building on the first “Five-Year Plan” — to scientifically formulate the second, continuing the groups shared-system reform toward a sustainable century-old Lisheng.
