On 2 February, the sixth day of the first lunar month and the first workday after the Spring Festival holiday, Lisheng Group and its subsidiaries held “refocus” meetings through morning assemblies and pre-shift gatherings, mobilising staff to quickly adjust their mindset and throw themselves into intense, orderly production — “on the job every minute, every second on duty” — while managers stepped up supervision on the front line. Grassroots units also held refocus meetings through team-leader and pre-shift gatherings.

Chairman Gao Fengguo stressed several points. On management: implement goal-based management across all work to cultivate the good Lisheng habits of order, planning and initiative, raising efficiency toward a style where “everything is managed and everyone manages something.” On marketing: lead the whole from key points — work small markets in detail and big markets in scale, doing addition first and then multiplication. On human resources: focus on recruitment, training, development and practicality — meaning quantified assessment linked to goals, with all managers and key staff at director level and above included, combining assessment with incentives. On systems: as the group grows, build systematic management, further streamline rules, and tailor management systems and policies to reality so that institution-building drives healthy, sustainable development.

In line with the group’s requirements, the subsidiaries and departments held refocus meetings, again setting out 2017 goals, unifying thinking and starting work immediately to ensure a good start to the year.
