Since early December 2012, with the group’s care and strong support, the technical upgrade of the Jining company’s noodle workshop has been fully underway. To date, all parts requiring demolition and rebuilding have been removed (including the two original noodle workshops, the warehouse, the auxiliary-material store and part of the No. 2 flour workshop’s storage), and the main steel frames of the new steel-structure noodle workshop and noodle warehouse have been installed, with all work proceeding on schedule.
Achievements always require hard work. Since construction began, the Jining company’s employees, led by GM Yuan Mingxian, worked diligently. Especially during the demolition of the old noodle-workshop equipment in the bitter cold of midwinter, GM Yuan stayed on the front line, directing in person; inspired, the workers volunteered to work overtime and, in just eight days, completed the removal of all production equipment, winning precious time for the next steps.
The group invested over 18 million yuan in this upgrade, with completion expected by the end of June 2013 and formal production in July. The new noodle workshop covers 9,000 square metres and includes five noodle lines, one noodle-sheet line and two non-fried instant-noodle lines — eight lines in total — processing 227 tons of noodles, noodle sheets and instant noodles per day. The Jining company will then present a brand-new face to the world.
