From 8 June 2013, summer grain purchasing got fully underway at seven collection points under Shandong Lisheng Group — its Jining, Wenshang and Heze companies, plus the Tianyu, Yanzhou Xiaomeng, Wenshang Guocang and Heze Chengwu Lifeng grain storage centres.

To ensure smooth purchasing, Lisheng arranged the machinery, personnel and funds at each point in advance, and the work proceeded in a tense but orderly way. To protect customers’ interests, the group purchased at no less than the national minimum protective price and paid grain proceeds to farmers and collection points immediately. Thanks to Lisheng’s good reputation and warm service, grain-delivery convoys flocked in, queuing in long lines outside the group and its collection points to await inspection and storage.
